Making the Magic Happen

RAFT Sacramento is a new non-profit organization that fosters hands-on teaching as the best way for teachers to teach and students to learn in pre-school through 12th grade education and community programs. It builds on work done for more than a decade by the founding RAFT organization in Silicon Valley (www.raft.net)

Need Stuff? If you teach kids, come discover the magic of hands-on shopping at RAFT. RAFT has computers, office supplies, paper goods, stickers, small office furniture, and hands-on activity kits tied to the framework for 20 kids at a fraction of the retail price. There is a Resource Room for making bulletin board displays, a laminator and book-binding equipment for member use. We offer fun, hands-on classes for teachers in art, science, math and technology at a low cost.

Got Stuff? If you are a company with excess product to dispose of, call RAFT. We take all kinds of things. We'll do a site visit, pick up your stuff with our truck and driver, and give you a tax write-off!

Got Time? Want to give back? RAFT always needs volunteers to build kits, sort donations, cut stickers. Give us a call!
