RAFT provides professional development opportunities and affordable hands-on learning materials for preschool through 12^th grade teachers and community group leaders. If you teach in a classroom, licensed childcare or community program, you're eligible to join RAFT. We anticipate that about 75 percent of our total membership will be classroom teachers, with the remainder from such programs as Boy and Girl Scouts, licensed daycare centers, registered home schools, and park and recreation departments.

Three Simple Steps to Becoming a Member
	To show affiliation with an eligible organization, please bring one of the following to RAFT: pay stub, current CTA card or a note on official letterhead confirming your role.
	Explore the warehouse; see the variety of programs and materials available to our members.
	Fillout an application and pay $35 for your annual membership. Group discounts are available for school districts and non-profit institutions which enroll all of their teachers.  Membership cards will be mailed within about two weeks.
